It's raining again! What should i be listening to?

Hi there

this country seems to defy all predictions made for summer weather. I've got rainy day blues. I am looking for suggestions on music choice to make the day ( or days!) a bit brighter. Help please:confused:

Three I particularly like to distract me from the weather:
The Wicker Man: Original Sound Track
The Sensational Alex Harvey Band: Next
Loreena McKennit: The Book of Secrets.

Thanks Scottmoose,

Have got my mits on a copy of Loreena's "the book of secrets". Haven't had much time to listen to it yet. The sensational Alex Harvey band is playing at a music festival in my area next weekend. I may go along if the ticket price is right.:)

Yeah!!!

FaithHealer :):):)

I still love that track although the live versions are best.

I remember the first time I heard it - in student digs. A friend bought the LP and put it on and we slowly just stopped talking and listened with our jaws slowly dropping as the track drew us into itself....

God that was 1973..... seems like yesterday!

Alex died in 82... they were never the same afterwards...

wow
just reminded me of another artist i havn't replaced after selling all my vinyl....also reminded me of the 74? christmas concert at the rainbow..when we all filed in we found each seat had a party hat, party blower and bag of sweets on it....now thats entertainment.....when we filed out I found I couldnt remember where I'd parked my car. It took till three in the morning to find it and it was only parked about 200 yards away....I mean, who could lose a mk2 jag, its big enough....thats space cadets for you!

lol
