PVC will melt @ 212 C. should be able to manage that in a domestic oven. (i think)

I dont think lots of glue and a few yellow pages will give you a flat platter.

Turn the amp upside down and open.

Leave the valves in position. Make sure you connect up the speakers (otherwise you will damage the amp), and test all the voltages. For testing the heaters...

The heater wire are the ones that are twisted under the PCB and connect to the large pins. Double check all this wiring.

Is it no lights on either the el84's or the ecf80's ?

Got an odd problem my with girlfriends laptop.

Whenever i press the L key internet explorer goes to full screen (like pressing F11 does). Any ideas why this is happening? It looks like a key...
