I looked at Allegro on Ebay under "classic cars", there were 4 and the dearest was 4495.

Just make sure the transformers are to spec for proper 240v/250v UK mains rather than the usual European 220v.

It DOES make a difference.

I believe "Yorkshire Life" has a better coefficient of glossiness than most glossies, worth a try ? :D

And also, a piece of plain A4 (printing paper will do) inserted between every 10th page can...

Caiman SEG + PSU

I recently purchased a Beresford Caiman SEG, and also have made a better PSU for it in an old WD case.

The PSU front panel is blue acrylic with a voltmeter as the on indicator.

After not using the Pre 3 for a long while I finally got round to sorting it out.

The coupling caps had been replaced by 0.1uf Clarity caps, but I suspected one was faulty. I snipped them out and...

As I understand things the dialectric itself has to restrict electron flow in order to be an insulator.
