I really like Brendan Benson and I quite like the White Stripes too, I have to say that for me the Raconteurs' album is good, but disappointingly quite a lot less than the sum of its parts.

It has a ferrite coating on the conductors, I can see why that might make a difference.

Yes I bought it in the UK, it still goes louder than I can tolerate on its own, but the sound has a slightly thin fizzy quality, - the amp just seems to give the sound more 'body' and...
