My only experience re KT88's are the Golden Dragons as supplied as standard by Matthew with my WD88VA. Mine are still going strong 2 1/2 years later and sound great. Just my 2 cents worth....

3A slow blow fuse purchased and inserted and all well again. For the tech-minded, is "slow-blow" the same as antisurge?
I did also take the opportunity to tie down C14 and 17 a little more securely....
