Re: WD MCT SUT question

Looking at your assembly, I would remove the two brown wires connecting the 0 volts to ground on the input, the inputs to the SUT should ( in my opinion ) be floating and not have any connection to...

Re: WD MCT SUT question

Re: Headphone Amps and choices

Re: WD Pre III CF

Looking into this a little further, I do think you will need to mod the PSU II as 100 volts is not correct, the Pre III CF is made to work with the Pre III which gives 250 volts, so a bit of resistor...

Re: WD Pre III CF

Does the CF not need 200-250 volts ?, I know the Pre II used 100 volts and was regulated by a Zener diode, my CF runs at 250 volts, regulated. Bob

Re: The Puffin DSP phono/preamp

Re: The Puffin DSP phono/preamp

Stuart, it seams to me that you have no interest in WD products, and you keep posting and promoting non WD products, why ? :( after all this is a forum for mainly WD. Bob

Re: WAD Phono II

This is the very first issue, the capacitors that you mention are not used, but they can be if you require more gain, I did it on my first issue but the gain and brightness was far too much, the...

Re: Headphone Amps and choices

Just had a look, seams a bit of a bodge job to me and as far as my knowledge goes, WAD never used that size of case and they had a black front. Bob
