magnets lose magnetism over time, I recall alnico are particularly susceptible to losing gauss

as you have correctly identified, suspensions will sag with gravity, they will probably lose...

se cad is for single ended output stages, tubecad is for input/driver stages pp tube cad is for push pull output stages, isn't quite as good imo, but still HILGHLY useful.

you need both ideally.

im'm using win 7 and it runs fine, 32 bit. get it you won't regret, but does take some getting used to, like I said the interplay between cathode current, kathode resistor takes some getting used to,...

here is a typcial psu with 100uf 10 H, 100uf with no surge resistors at all.

you can see the bouncing behaviour on initial charge up, not idea, but I wonder if it really matters?

opefull better pic of the "good! psu

if you look carefully, you notice the slow ramp up at the start, that's due ot the series resistance of the transformer secondary, 80 ohms and the limiting...

if you look at the bottom bar, you can see all the types of circuit it simulates, loads, and also look to the right and you will see all the readings it caluculates for...

ykes tube cads all work on windows 7 but youi must use 32 bit, they won't work on 64 bit but there is a work around,

you can install something called oracle/sun virtual box, and then install win...

try a kt88 in it, and thence onto a 300b amp, the 6sj7 driven one is also wonderful, even better. the design is on...

if wad is a problem with the officials I will obviously amend....I am SO used to wad that I still think it exists. I "grew up" with it....

put your 2 volts your power amp requires, and the power amp amplifies that via is gain, which is the gain of each individual stage combined together, minus the output transformer step down if there...
