Sorry Lyndon, I can not understand whether it is the Phono II or the KLP1 that you are unhappy with, I use Phono III and have used Phono II, that replaced a Linn Linto phono stage and I am very happy with it, is the KLP1 the simple two valve cathode follower ? if it is you could do much better than that.
