I bought two of them a couple of years ago, although the input and output are on ether side, as Andy has said, they are not suited to shunt use, but do make connection to the pot very easy and neat. BOB

I think it's called synchronicity!

We have developed our own versions of a Pot. PCB for the Alps which are available in two flavours - "standard" and "shunt". This was going to be announced - along with another couple of surprises - in a day or two's time and to coincide with the launch of an update of the website!!!

Watch out for it - I'll pop a "Sticky" up in the News department when it goes live.

If anyone is pacing the floor for a pot. board more urgently, just drop me an email.

Matthew

On another forum, a chap in Germany recommended me some cheapo generic STM stepped attenuators for 18 euros a shot on the bay. He considers them better than Alps Blue and indistinguishable from the basic Snagle autoformers. I have oredered but it will be Christmas before I have time to try them.
Will try and include a link.

Thanks Van, I also have ordered one.

In the past I've tried stepped attenuators but not liked them, but I'm going to give one another try in a possible future project.
