Default Do you guys use your WD Speakers with WD Amps ?

I'm going to make a big assumption here that when designed the WD Loudspeakers were designed so that they will work well with WD (or WAD ) amplifiers.

Do any of you guys use WD25T with KEL84 Integrated amp, Does this combo work well.

Will WD be at the Scottish Hi-Fi Show next month ( October 2007) and if so will you be taking any speakers.

Sid and Coke.
You bet they work well together, the WD25T's are such an easy load. The 84 has no problems with them at all.

Actually they weren't designed just using WD amps. I always make sure my designs work with a variety of amplifiers, both solid state and valve.

In fact as they are so easy to drive they will bring the best out of any amplifier.

Terry.

Radio 2, Mark Radcliffe filling in for Steve Wright in the afternoon, via my Sky+ box and my 37" LCD TV .

Did you make the Cabs yourself Terry, go for the flat pack, or buy ready built ?

I got the flat pack. In the middle of checking that everthing was there, my brother called and asked what the hell I throught I was doing, he is a cabinet maker. The up shot of all this was he built the cabinets and I gave him my no longer used 6550 amp. I had intended to give him the 84, but i'm so pleased with it I kept it!!.
The cabinets are not hard and come with very good instructions, the X overs come ready wired even the spades for the speakers are fitted, I did run over mine with a soldering iron just to be sure thro. The whole build took two weekends.
