I used to go to classic car shows but I've not been for a couple of years now as I've been doing up the house! May sell the Anglebox later in the year to pay for more Time Machine (hifi) bits or the garage to office conversion so I can design and make more Time Machine bits..... Will see how I get on with other parts of the house.

Rich.

Apart from helping to run two youth clubs i have little time for other interests.
Past hobbies include photography, watching motorbike racing and being a crew member for a pro stock motorcycle drag racing team, followed by a season of being a marshall at Avon Park Raceway. Used to do a lot of drinking as well.

Only Citroens I like are the proper ones....Traction Avant and DS...the rest are not Citroens....but only in my eyes! You may not agree.... I guess I have to include Tin Snail but I'm not really a fan....they are just on the list!

DS was way ahead of it's time (styling and technology) and many things went down hill after that for the company!

I was always into old Fords, Rover P6, Armstrong Siddeley (I had a Star Sapphire for a while) and DeSoto Fireflite....

Outrage! Yep that seems familiar. Not sure of the 2 suffix.
Its a least 20 years since i was a regular at Long Marston (prior to being named Avon Park). Probably 22+ years since i went to the Pod.
I know that not everyone raced at both venues, so you might have to refesh my memory. Sadly my huge pile of photos of the regular teams have long gone.

Once upon a time it was this , but nowadays this .

On Citroens, my brother has a CX Safari. As well as being an extraordinary vehicle to drive, can you think of any other car where you can lay a welsh dresser in the back in one piece?

I had an AX for many years. It was anonymous little thing, but still had a bit of Citroen DNA. Despite being only 750kg (much lighter than the stupid aluminium Audi A2) it had a ride that wouldn't disgrace a limo, and went like stink. Like all Citroens though, it fell to bits.
