Hi Richard

Thanks for your comments and things to watch out for.

The signal ground seems to be electrically common to all other grounds so not floating. I think both you and John are pointing me in a similar direction here.
I'll float that first and see how things go from there.

Merlin, further to our PMs, Richard has offered to send you the construction instructions you require and his offer might be a quicker way to get what you need. I am still in Tenerife and to be realistic, probably wont have time to attend to your info request before 2nd Jan at the earliest. Id PM Richard if youd prefer a faster response.

Hi, been distracted by other things but have had another look at the amps. I've tried the various ground lift suggestions but no progress I'm afraid. Went back through the test table and it looks a bit wonky:

Wonder if anyone has the time to take a look.

Going to go through the PCBs and check values.

May need to get someone with more experience to take a look.
