Vaughan-Williams London Symphony (Boult 1960's stereo recording on vinyl). Played it in a concert on Saturday and is now completely lodged in my head.

Today 6EM7 is being pushed with..

Everything but the girl- Walking Wounded on CD. Moody/stroppy downbeat drum n bassy tales of love lost/won/lost etc etc.

Last night WD88 was being tormented with Motivation Radio by Steve Hillage. Yummy.

The Beatles "LOVE" album on 180G vinyl.

Remastered from the original master tapes.

The quality of the mixing and the recordings is superb......

Expensive at £35 on Parlorphone limited edition of 5000, but comes with lovely picture album and notes.

Worth every penny......

I was so tempted when I saw it being released (we've got the CD version) but Julie reckons its crap and won't let me play it when she's about.

She's a hooge Beatles fan and reckons its sacrilege

I like it for what it is.

Vinyl is better than CD version by a good margin. Just sounds much more fluid and natural rather than arty as the CD can sound.....

I thought that the remixing was very subtle and not at all what I was expecting, but very very very good recording on virgin vinyl. Luverly....

There may be something in this vinyl malarky after all.....

This Is Spinal Tap - for those not in the know, a very funny "Rockumentary" released in 1984.

I saw it at the pictures first time round, and bought it on DVD when it became available.
