Well. yes, actually, I do.

Downloaded it out of curiosity due to DTB's post. A bit outside my normal area, but growing on me fast!
Nice one Shane, glad you tried it out. They did another LP called 'Things to make and do' that is a far more easier listen, beautifully recorded too IMHO. A bit more accessible than 'Sweater' but still with some quirk and edge to it.

Jethro Tull's "Broadsword & the Beast" on vinyl

Bought this for a quid at a car boot recently. Never heard it when it came out, ridiculously enough.

Particularly like these lines from "Beastie" -

From early days of infancy
To trembling years of youth
Long, murky middle age
To final hours, long in the tooth

Like most of us I suspect, I would fit into the third of those categories

Belatedly (last 18 months) catching on to Natalie Merchant, boy would I like to have seen her in concert, I logged onto her site to buy a few CDs.

Well she was producer on a benefit CD and there is a video clip, that is well worth watching and listening to. All the musicians were or have been homeless people including a 15 year old girl who does the singing, helped by Natalie - for me it was riveting and heartwarming - it's for free, so take a look.

Philip,
just google Natalie Merchant and her site will come up. I put her right up with Joni Mitchell and Janice Ian.

If only her work could be had in vinyl. I know there are a few NM fans on this forum and I'm extremely jealous of all those who have seen her live.
