Being forgetful
I'm not sure if this qualifies or not But last night I decided to try out a different brand of valves in my headphone amp so proceeded to pull old one out at this point the dog wanted his walk so took him out on my return I put the valve in and started to enjoy some music and thinking these sound good I looked over at the amp and realised I had put the old valve back in is this being forgetful or just plan bloody stupid its a fine line me thinks

Hi-or the other saying

Now sit down quietly and try to remember when you last used it !

Works sometimes!

Everything in this post is my honest opinion based on what i thought I knew at that very moment in time.

Sounds like a good case for blaming your dog.

Returning to the problem of losing tools etc.

I'm very untidy when i'm making something, so i made a wooden stand with a magnetic tool/knife holding strip fixed to it.
I've now got in the habit of putting pliers, drivers and other tools on this when i've temporarily done with them instead of on the bench.
Definitely saves time and reduces stress levels.

Yeah, this pi**es me off every year......

It's one single day, hyped up and spread out for 6 months of the year. If the missus forgets one single thing, the fuss over it would make you think the world was coming to an awful end on the 25th dec......

IT IS NOT......

Not a hope there then eh? What with all the mugs rampaging around on our saviours day giving no heed to the message whatsoever.......

And to cap it all off we have a huge orgy of commercialism in the New year sales; where people buy stuff to put away for the next years celebration.......

Thank God I went mad years ago and no longer worry in the slightest that the credit cards have disappeared in a puff of smoke; the "cash in the sock" sock has joined the casualty list, and lest we forget, the bank would like a word about a draught problem that I don't even know I have. And since when did the banks start selling insulation.......

Bah Humbug.......God rest ye merry gentlemen.
Be of good cheer for a child has been born,,,,,,,, Damn, another one for the christmas list.....

Oh Oh I know lets sit our children down and innoculate them into the madness from an early age.....Lets tell them huge fat lies, about a huge fat bearded guy in a red jacket, who is going to give them their every whim. A man who flies faster than the speed of light, powered only by several reindeer.........Absolute rubbish. I mean everyone knows that seven reindeer will only do about 30mph down the M4, and he would be more credible if he used giant falcons that can at least fly, and at 135MPH......

Who am I? Just another concerned citizen....
