Hi-motor run capacitors that are rated at 440v,would this be AC,and if so would the DC rating be higher (650v ?)
are these capacitors suitable for a decent power supply ? Philip

Yes and yes (yes)
![]() Motor run caps are very well suited to psu use as they have nice high dc capability and good current ripple capability. Motor start are not suitable as their continuous ripple capability is poor. James |
