yeah, i tried some and especially in the powersupply/powersection those black gates are really something else. The only thing that comes close is the silk elna, wich might have a bit more musicality. The black gates are very clean and have the lowest noisefloor of them all.

The transformation was huge! clean, stable power is sooo important for an amp or any other audio device!

etter say, used to make black gate. it's really over and supplies are drying quite fast. the bad side-effect is that prices are rising, same goes for the elna cerefine 's and the silk caps.
