I saw him in the flesh once, he was a lot smaller than you would imagine and had extremely cratered skin. But anyway without the studio lights and makeup and stature enhancement techniques he was just recognisable.

He'd never get a job in broadcasting today, wrong sex wrong sexual orientation and wrong looks.

Couldn't agree more. Tremendously influential and very infectious enthusiasm on the screen. I also agree with Paul - he wouldn't be today's chosen presenter.

Then again I suppose he is meant to be comical.
I do not suppose they would even care about the sexuality of most would be presenters today, so much so that we wouldn't even know about it.

I'd be interested in what sex Graham Norton actually is. Is anyone sure? At least Raymond Baxter didn't have to resort to cheap sexually orientated inuendo to sell his product. Norton is the **** of our current society. Baxter was everything we now would be better aspiring to. Oh, I'm a bit old but not that old. It's just that in my view, Norton epitomizes all that is wrong with our society and our country and it's a downward slope.
